Oltmans Construction Co. provides the safest workplace possible for our employees, subcontractors, clients and all others on our construction sites. We believe that safety is of the utmost concern and have dedicated ourselves to promoting an injury-free work environment.
A full-time safety director, who promotes our written injury and illness prevention program in order to provide a safe and healthy workplace, administers our safety program. We are committed to our safety program consistent with good construction practices, which creates an attitude of safety consciousness in general management, field and shop supervisors and our employees. Our field supervisory personnel have completed the 30-hour OSHA Construction Safety course and our Site Safety Health Officers (SSHO) have a minimum of (5) years of construction industry safety experience. Oltmans further provides continuing safety education and training for all of their employees on an on-going basis.
Company safety meetings are held once a month for management, project managers and superintendents, where we provide the tools, knowledge and resources necessary to increase safety and reduce risk. In addition, the field superintendents hold weekly "toolbox" meetings on site with their field crews. The jobsite superintendents make safety inspections of all job sites daily followed by weekly on site inspections by our Safety Director and General Field Superintendents.
Oltmans Construction Co. is proud of their outstanding safety record, which has been earned by our total commitment to the high standards of safety that we set.

Oltmans Construction Co. is committed to sustainable building practices as part of the overall integrated project delivery approach for a collaborative, value-based process in delivering high-performance buildings. Our BIM capabilities facilitate the process by increasing efficiencies throughout the design and construction phases.
What is BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING?
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle. It uses three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software to increase productivity in building design and construction. The process produces the Building Information Model, which encompasses building geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, and quantities and properties of building components that can be shared by multiple project stake-holders from the design team to the fabricators and contractors and ultimately to the building owners.
