A unique stone and steel entrance and housed a massive 21,780 s.f. wine cellar with a 35,453 s.f. bottling area, a 5,100 s.f. tasting / retail room and a beautiful restaurant complete with a full kitchen. Several windows along the mezzanine level allowed visitors the opportunity to actually view the wine-making process. The Herzog project also included a 24,418 s.f. warehouse with a 4,000 s.f. exterior equipment yard where the heating and refrigeration units necessary for their operation were placed. The warehouse area included dockhigh and grade-level trucking options with convenient in-ground scales.
