Oltmans provided construction management services for the mass grading and infrastructure work for a future industrial park development which includes three large industrial buildings, three major streets, retaining walls, fire access road and three detention basins, for a total of approximately three million cubic yards of dirt excavation. The infrastructure work included all dry and wet utilities, with support structures and storm drain structures, detention basins with flow structures, gunite slopes, fiber matrix and hydro seed, all roadway construction, including curb and gutter, pavement and street lighting. Oltmans was also responsible for coordination between onsite and offsite utilities and utility service companies, including the relocation of an existing 16” gas main through the property.
Oltmans team and contractors worked with governing authorities like Caltrans, City of Beaumont, and the Department of Fish and Games.
The Department of Fish and Games was involved due to the dedicated habitat restoration project, which included the reconstruction of a 9-acre dedicated habitat zone with native plant species and the preservation of the existing river. The team fully implemented the site erosion control plan and SWPPP.
