Preflight your project

The pre-construction phase is crucial to the success and profit of any construction process. However, the complexity and magnitude of the decisions an owner must make can be difficult without the necessary expertise and support. That’s where we can help.

Oltmans can assume complete responsibility for our client’s interests in the pre-construction process and provide expert, professional analysis of every aspect of the project. We eliminated over-designed elements, catch and correct errors and suggest changes that can provide major construction cost savings. It’s a role we take very seriously and a duty we perform rigorously for every client who works with us.

Critical service pre-construction services

Feasibility studies

An objective, comprehensive feasibility analysis from Oltmans can help project owners secure funding and refine their plans before making any major investments. We conduct a thorough analysis that takes into account everything from site reality and design alternatives to tax credits and incentives for energy efficient design.

BIM Model

Project development

We conduct a rigorous review and analysis of all designs, site use, materials and labor constraints to create accurate budgets and schedules. Whenever possible, we identify potential cost savings and propose alternative designs. We use Revit, a state-of-the-art Building Information Modeling system (BIM), to render a 3-D preflight of the entire project, allowing us to pinpoint risks and pursue aggressive conflict identification and resolution.

BIM from Lisi Areospace

As the project advances, we help clients select and manage consultants for structural, electrical, mechanical, soils, and civil engineering.
