Whittier’s Oltmans Construction Co. Continues Ranking Among State’s Premier Contractors

WHITTIER, CA – Recording a construction volume for 2008 of nearly $300 million, Oltmans Construction Co. of Whittier, CA continued its ranking among the top tier of general contractors in California, checking in at number 33 among 95 companies listed, according to CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTION Magazine.

CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTION data also showed that Oltmans Construction Co. ranked among the top 16 contractors based in Southern California who made the list.

The statewide contractors publication reported that Oltmans Construction Co. earned its leading contractors status on the strength of two major projects completed during 2008. They were the Stater Bros. Dry Goods building in San Bernardino, and the Corona Summit office building complex in Corona.

Among other projects completed by Oltmans Construction Co. during 2008 were the $11 million, and the 93,183 square foot headquarters for Door Components in Fontana, CA. Oltmans is currently building one of the largest speculative industrial projects of its kind in the L.A. Metro area – the 400,000 square foot Randolph Business Center in City of Commerce for developer Western Realco.
