Rehabilitation of a previous carpet mill metal and masonry building into Amazon’s DLX8 Last-Mile facility. The scope included electrical, mechanical, and fire sprinkler upgrades, along with significant site overhaul. The site was enclosed with new masonry walls, and the surface parking lot was redesigned to meet Amazon’s e-commerce standards.

Key Challenges & Solutions:

  • Remediation and demolition of contaminated subgrade and ACM.
  • Integration of multiple building types.
  • Demolition of canopy and raise foundation at the truck court.
  • Structural underpinning of existing foundation.
  • Full replacement of site utilities and pavement.
  • Adapted to multiple design changes, including relocating an in-progress office build to the warehouse exterior without impact to delivery.
