Preconstruction Delivery
Oltmans Construction Co. provided preconstruction and budgetary services for American Jerky Company’s new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Victorville, CA. Working closely with key subcontractors and consultants, Oltmans’ project team focused on delivering a smooth, efficient, and cost-effective construction process while proactively mitigating risks related to schedule and permitting. Our scope of services included detailed budgeting, constructability reviews, value engineering, and coordination throughout the permitting process—all aimed at setting the project up for long-term success.
Climate Controlled Facility Construction
Slated for completion in 2026, the climate-controlled facility is thoughtfully designed to support large-scale food processing operations. Key features include an oven room, 75,000 s.f. of freezer space, dry material storage, weighing and equalizing rooms, and dedicated areas for boxing and packaging. Once operational, the facility is expected to create up to 450 permanent jobs and will help deliver delicious, nutritious treats to dogs across the globe—all from a sustainably designed, state-of-the-art space.
