Loma Creek Logistics Center
Ground up construction of a 534,234 s.f. LEED Silver certified speculative concrete tilt-up warehouse and distribution center.
The scope of work of the warehouse facility includes office tenant improvements and all onsite construction activities. Health and safety data was collected monthly from all trade partners, including hours worked, incidents (lost work cases, restricted days, transfers), safety observations (positive and negative), near misses, and disciplinary actions. This information was tracked monthly and project-to-date to benchmark performance, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
This project achieved 66% energy use reduction compared to standard warehouses (ASHRAE 90.1-2010 energy efficiency standards). Key sustainability highlights include:
- 13 products with EPDs for transparent material impact
- 646,344 kg CO2e projected operational carbon reduction
- 2.6M+ gallons of water saved annually (indoor + outdoor)
- 100% LED lighting and cloud-connected energy monitoring
- 1.44 lbs/SF construction waste, far below LEED thresholds
Built with a strong emphasis on health, safety, and continuous improvement, the project also leveraged LEED Regional Priority credits to address local environmental challenges.
