Preconstruction

Oltmans project team underwent a significant preconstruction process over one (1) year before the construction of the new St. Mary's STEAM Building project. The preconstruction team provided long lead procurement identification and tracking, constructability review, design-assist services, budgeting and cost control, and construction sequencing strategy to minimize any potential impacts to the St. Mary's school as much as possible. Due to the tight site constraints and the importance of protecting students and faculty throughout the construction period, the preconstruction phase was instrumental in familiarizing the project management team with the school's existing programming and allowed for the most seamless transition during construction.

St. Mary's STEAM Building Construction

During the construction process Oltmans Construction Co. assisted with the removal of existing portable buildings. This was thightly coordinated with the school's schedule to ensure minimal disruption to faculty, staff, and students. Following this, was the construction of a new two-story, concrete tilt-up STEAM building, along with the interior build-out and associated landscaping and site work.
