The Oltmans Foundation

At Oltmans Construction Co., we are a group of passionate, hardworking, and caring men and women. The Oltmans Foundation provides support and opportunities for us to better serve and strengthen the communities in which we work. Even amidst the challenges of a pandemic, we are ambitious in our mission to make a postitive impact.

Our Story & Purpose

The Oltmans Foundation was formally established as a non-profit organization in 2000. The Foundation funds and brings together a collective group of like-minded partners (Oltmans employees, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers) to work on projects and activities that strengthen and sustain our local communities. As a general contractor, we look for projects that could best “put our skills to use.” Naturally, many of our charitable projects include building structures, renovations, and site improvements. We are proud of the charitable effort that is put forth by our own employees who donate their time and money to those who need it most.

Three Key Areas of Outreach and Community Service

Serving for the sake of others

Olive Crest

For more than 40 years, Olive Crest has dedicated its services to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. They serve nearly 3,000 children and families each day.

The Olive Crest classroom building project in Riverside County was Oltmans Construction’s first major charitable involvement and launched the inception of the Oltmans Foundation. Throughout the years, Oltmans has offered construction services to the Olive Crest Kids Ranch in Perris, which houses and provides care to abused and neglected children.

In 2020, the Oltmans Foundation assisted in the repair of a water leak at the Olive Crest School. In the next couple of months, we will also be helping with the waterpoofing of their underground basement as well as site paving for additional parking.

Orange County Rescue Mission

The Orange County Rescue Mission’s goal is to minister the love of Jesus Christ to the least, the last, and the lost of our community through the provision of assistance in the areas of guidance, counseling, education, job training, shelter, food, clothing, health care, and independent living communities. The Oltmans Foundation has been greatly involved with the Rescue Mission since the construction of the Village of Hope campus in 2002.

Oltmans Construction joined forces with our subcontractor partners to build homes for homeless veterans. The project is called The Tustin Veterans Outpost Expansion Project and has involved a complete gut and reconstruction of the interior and exterior of three (3), two-story apartment buildings located on Newport Avenue in Tustin. The project is valued at $2.4 million and will allow an additional 45 veterans to benefit from housing and Rescue Mission support. The project is scheduled to be completed in December 2020.

Thomas House Family Shelter

Thomas House is a rent-free shelter for homeless families with children. Oltmans Construction Co.’s Drywall division self-performed updates to a two-bedroom apartment for the community located in Garden Grove. Oltmans added new insulation, drywall, and finished the walls and ceiling throughout the second-floor apartment. The entirety of the project was donated to the non-profit organization in time to house a new family.

Every Man Ministries

Every Man Ministries helps churches worldwide to develop and grow healthy men’s communities with the goal to end child abuse, fatherlessness and protect women and children.

Oltmans Foundation put our drywall field forces to work to build their film and sound studio, which included a green screen and sound proof walls and floor in Mission Viejo.
